1sixty8 media is pleased to announce a new product: Lifestyle Articles. Written from the perspective of a woman who grew up in the mobile enhancement industry and uses the products that she writes about, Lifestyle Articles are designed to catch the attention of female searchers.
It is no secret that women are making more buying decisions for many categories that our clients support – driver safety, Bluetooth and navigation, to name a few. Women may look for different things from a mobile enhancement shop from what men look for, and have specific expectations for how to be treated as a customer. We believe that part of a well-rounded content marketing program should include content directed squarely at the female buyer.
For now, all Lifestyle Articles will be written by Morgan Nicholson. Morgan is the daughter of Mark Miller, owner of Westminster Speed and Sound, and she grew up in the family business. Her knowledge of the industry and the products that 1sixty8’s clients sell is extensive. She can write articles from first-hand experience and add a different view from those of Mark or our other writers.
We believe that Lifestyle Articles will serve two main purposes:
- Catch the attention of female buyers who are researching a purchase. In our industry, those who are engaged in content marketing programs focus almost exclusively on male buyers. This will set our clients apart in the eyes of female prospects.
- Speak directly to female prospects. Because Morgan will be able to write about scenarios that are specific to a female demographic, we believe that these articles will make prospects much more likely to take action and engage in some sort of initial contact with our clients.
Lifestyle Articles will be priced similarly to standard articles. One difference will be the submission process. Clients will still be asked to submit an article request as usual. We would ask that bullet points and notes be limited to any facility-specific items that might affect the article. The focus of these articles is more on talking about how the products that we sell affect a woman’s life than on technical specifications or debating solder vs. crimp.
Lifestyle Articles are another weapon in our arsenal to drive interested, relevant traffic into our clients’ facilities. We hope that you find them to be a valuable addition to your ongoing content marketing.
